What sort of scams and sticky situations do Jass, Honey, and Goldy get themselves into while trying to realise Jass's ambition of becoming a Canadian?Synopsis
The humour in "Carry On Jatta 2" keeps viewers entertained for the entire two and a half hours.Story
Jass (Gippy Grewal), an orphan with aspirations of moving to Canada, meets NRI girl Meet (Sonam Bajwa) during a wedding. But Meet only wishes to wed a man who has a large family. Jass deceives Meet into believing he has a large family by working with his cunning buddy Honey (Gurpreet Ghuggi). In order to do this, he rides the coattails of his family-and-home-owning lawyer landlord Dhillon (Jaswinder Bhalla) and his son Goldy (Binnu Dhillon). This trick leads to a series of humorous misunderstandings regarding actual relationships.I haven't witnessed a packed theatre roaring with laughter in a while.
For those who have been impatiently awaiting the follow-up to the 2012 film Carry On Jatta, Carry On Jatta 2 is yet another dose of humour. However, let me be clear that this is not a continuation of that movie.
The narrative appears to be the same, except Sonam Bajwa has taken the role of Mahie Gill, and the "ghodi" has been changed to a "kundi." The trio of performances by Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, and Gurpreet Ghuggi is unrivalled because they effortlessly knead the stomach muscles with laughter.
Repeated punches from Jaswinder Bhalla transport you back to the first "Dhillon da kaala coat," while Karamjit Anmol's elaboration of "Jijju" had us in splits. Sonam's beauty and kind smile left us speechless, despite the fact that Upasna Singh and Jyoti Sethi didn't have much to do in the movie.
