Vedhalam
Siruthai What Siva can and cannot do with Ajith Kumar has been made quite plain. Ajith has once again been utilised to Siva's advantage following his remarkable success with Veeram. He hasn't made an effort or, as is fair to say, bothered to do anything different.
Laxmi Menon, who is Ajith's sister, relocates to Kolkata to pursue her education. Ajith is the benevolent, innocent person who always smiles. He keeps getting the impression that he is a decent guy, but you can tell from that alone that he is not. He starts driving taxis in Kolkata. But he has a background, and moving to Kolkata wasn't only for Laxmi Menon's academics. He chases for crooks and goes on a murdering spree. The main theme of the narrative is "why."
Siruthai Siva has used the feelings associated with family and the "mass" appeal of Ajith to his advantage. He hasn't given much thought to reasoning during this process, thus it's irrelevant.
The tale is also not particularly novel. It is the tried-and-true revenge-centered commercial potboiler, which the Indian cinema community has created so many times that it is already worn out. But the filmmaker has added small amounts of humour and sentiment to keep the script moving.
Vedalam is home to an army of comics who have done their best to make you smile. The moments in Naan Kadavul Rajendran are hilarious. In Tamil cinema, using villains as a source of humour has become commonplace. We all may be searching for the "Kallukkul Eeram," perhaps (kindness inside a heart of stone factor). You could giggle at Soori's phrases like "Shocka Kora Shocka Kora," yet his distinctive Thanglish is overused. Even if the comedy of Shruti Haasan & Co. is as unprofessional as it gets, you may overlook it since Soori joins them.
There are just four songs in Vedalam. A shocking reality for a performer in the entertainment industry. Other songs, including "Ganapathi Baba Maurya," don't ruin the screenplay. In order to cut down on yawns and leaks in the theatre, Siva even divided the romance song into two halves. It would have been challenging for the filmmaker to make the movie as risqué as it has ended up being without Anirudh's Theri theme.
You could like Vedalam if you don't mind a movie with an unstoppable hero who can defeat 20 or 30 guys (the exact number doesn't relevant) at once and if you don't mind too much sentimentality.
